summer festival aka. Washabuck Days!

A taste of what to look forward to:
Friday, July 31st: Join us in kicking off the
Washabuck Days with the 50th Annual Square Dance with Donnie
Campbell, Troy MacGillivray and Friends.
Monday, August 3rd- Saturday, August 8th: Morning Washabuck Cafes and Poker Walks.
Wednesday, August 5th: Spend the afternoon on the baseball field with family and friends, followed by a BBQ supper at the hall and music at 7:00pm with Kaj Udby, Jordi Martin, and Kyle LeVesconte.

Summer Student Employment Opportunity
Position: Youth Festival Organizer
Tasks and
Responsibilities:
The hired employee will be responsible for, but not limited to:
-
assist with the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and grounds during summer months
-
general office duties (e.g., computer work, word processing programs, printing, etc.)
-
inventories
-
advertising
-
setting up for all events and clean up
-
must be available to assist with all festival events; post-events tasks
-
assist with recycling following Victoria County guidelines
8 weeks from June 29th to
August 21st.
35 hours per week @ $17.00 an hour.
Hours will vary during the festival week, and you must be available to work events as needed.
